3 Questions to Ask Yourself to Start the Day Right

1. How do I feel about the day ahead? Spend some time with your feelings when you first wake up. If you have negative feelings, know that when we face them, acknowledge them, and accept them, they aren't as difficult to manage. 

2. What breaks/rewards can I plan into my day? Having small things to look forward to can be so important. A new tv show? Conversation with a friend? Doorbell ditch a treat to someone? 

3. Do I need to give myself more compassion today? If you've been here a while you know I'll say the answer is almost always yes :) Especially if you are feeling worried or anxious about the day, practice speaking kindly to yourself. Put your hand on your heart and say, "This is hard for you right now. This is a stressful time, and I want you to be well."
